Thai Rack
Had a take away from here last week. went here because larger portion size and cheaper than Baan Thitaya , and usually not bad. however, this time it was RUBBISH. Food covered in grease and lacked flavour, I had pad thai and green curry.
I'll be giving this place a miss in future, looks like Baan Thitaya will be getting my money next time.

I'm surprised this place is still open!
It looks a real mess from the outside and I can't remember the last time I ventured inside
Wouldn't do any harm if the owners could give the place a lick of paint...

I found a strong smell of damp the last time I ate here. The food was ok and the staff were pleasant. The menus badly need replacing - they were falling apart and very stained. I had a takeaway from Miss Boonpans recently which was delicious!

When I first went to the Thai Rack, about 4 years ago, I thought the food was lovely.
Last time my husband & I ate there, I can't say we were impressed.
The place really needs an update & good scrub. The food was past it's best too. Maybe our tastebuds have been spoilt by Baan Thitaya. Spoilt or not, we know where we will be going in future.

Do you think they might be holding out, thinking that Hertford House may want to expand further and ask for a ridiculous over inflated price?

I went there on Saturday night. True the menus are a bit old .Food was very nice indeed though!

Sorry, I can't agree with most of the reviews on here.
We frequently get take aways from here and can't fault it - fresh, tasty food!
Since moving to Hertford and having a Thai so close I can't remember the last time I had a greasy chinese. Thai is way more healthier and the service you get from the owner in Thai Rack is second to none. Discounts, free prawn crackers (tasty ones, not the polystyrene ones you get from the chinese!) - he's a lovely bloke.
Flakey paint and tatty menus? If you adopted that attitude in Thailand you'd never eat! Don't judge a book by it's cover! Use your buds and actually taste the food!
