I don't know what flew over today but it was a beautiful four-engined dary grey jet. Surely others must have seen it - it flew over the town centre around 1 pm? Beautiful and quite unusual whatever it was. My bets are on an Antonov of some sort. Sally B

I heard the noise but the sky showed nothing by the time I got outside. Portugal is hosting the A1GP race in early April as well as Brands Hatch after that, so it might have been an Antonov cargo plane with some expensive goods on board. Either that or the Ukrainian people are coming here as a job-lot.

I saw it - a large high-wing four engine [possibly] military transport. I seem to recall a Hercules flying twice over the town on Thursday as well.

Ok, there must be something military going on. Two pairs of helicopters (inc.Chinooks) just flew over. Not sure what the other two were - an unusual shape.

"Ron" opened the door to alight, believing they had arrived at their destination.
