New Hairdresser in St.Andrew Street
The old Lawthers shop has been let to an Aveda Hair Colour Specialist.
It is currently being refurbished, and hopes to open in the next couple of weeks.
The owner has another branch in L.A.

I saw that last night!
Seriously, Hertford is being overthrown by hairdressers and beauty salons. It's crazy.
I think we should as the kind folk at Ware College to suggest to all hairdresser/beauty students to think about setting up somewhere else other than Hertford. The markets going to implode surely if they all carry on.
I don't use hairdressers as I cut my own hair but how many beauty salons/ hairdressers are there in hertford now???? 20+?

There is also a new nail bar opening I think in the china shop (Starfish?)
I think on the last count I made at least 6.....

Hi all :)
Maybe the person opening in St Andrews Street already has an existing client base in Hertford & are simply moving their business into a new premises. If this is the case, it wouldn't work to their advantage setting up in another town as it would be like starting a new business from scratch. Maybe they have simply outgrown their current place of work & need somewhere bigger.
There are plenty of empty shops in Hertford & now is a good time to negotiate with rent.

Or perhaps not. Hatton Garden has around 300 jewellery shops and Savile Row is hardly short of men's tailors.

Blimey. How do you know this/when are they coming etc...? They'll have to do more than nails, surely, as I know how much the rent is on that place.[:D]

There is a poster in the window of the shop say 'Nail Bar' It beggers belief, but they must know the score regarding the nail salonsin the town, if not I think they are going to find it very difficult to get clientele

The nail bar is going into Tickled Pink & Blue and next door is Tony & Guy. Starfish is still to let.
