Another Bengeo in Tasmania!
Whilst doing research trying to find out any information about the old Bengeo Cottage,(as in my post in Hertford's Past section), I discovered that there is another Bengeo in Tazzie!!

I don't know if there is an upper and lower but I seem to remember that the founders of the Tasmanian one were most certainly local.There's an Essendon, Ware, Watton etc in Aus. Obviously all places where convicts originated!

I'd googled that and found mr Knapsey too. No, it wasn't him. Think I learnt about this 15 or so years ago when doing a course on the history of Hertford at Ware college
