5 a-side football
Does anyone know of (or play in) a 5/6 a-side league locally to Hertford? - or - know if there are any 5 a-side footy facilities in Hertford itself?

there is a 5 a-aside league held at John Warner school in Hoddesdon.There are also leagues at Wodson Park,Ware and there are some local leagues at http://www.pitch-invasion.com/ Haileybury college also has pitches but I am not sure if they have leagues

Most of the leagues let you have 3 subs coming on and off when you like.If you are really fit you just need 5 players,but check with the organisers as every venue has different rules.If you have more players it brings the individual cost down as well

You'll need 7 players really - 6 minimum. Having played in the power leagues for the past year I've gotta say when you've only got 5 players you seem to struggle as it's non stop (the ball can't go out of play) and without subs, you'll tire pretty quickly even if it is only 15/20mins.

It depends what venue you playing at,as pitch invasion uses larger pitches where you have corners and roll-ons.If you play at John Warner they have smaller pitches which are enclosed and have boards all round the pitch
