More bus ticket price inflation
A "new fare structure" is in price on Arriva buses from this week.
All I know is that a weekly busrider ticket was £20.50 last week and now it is £23.50 - an inflation-busting rise of 14.6%!
Even the driver was saying saying to his mate as I was buying the ticket: "10p I can understand but £3!".
At least the sign didn't contain the usual lies about fuel price increases (because they're not increasing so they can't get away with that lie this time) - they have fixed price fuel deals so are unaffected by rises.
Bring back regulation!

Would that be the 310/311 service..? I was shocked myself on Monday morning to be told of the increase - 14%!!!
