Braziers dairy is the name of the one we use. Very reliable and do your area (as I live there too)

The cow tends to be a bit big and a bit slow so usually bottles on an electric milk float.
Braziers are based on the B1000 towards Welwyn I think often get behind a milkfloat between Sele and Tewin Bury!

Not actually a daft question....ours is delivered on the back of a diesel truck....very noisy at 4 or 5 in the morning.

There is also a Dairy Crest that delivers in Hertford, seen it this morning but no phone number I could see on the float sorry

Depends where you live. They do the 'rat run' route very early to avoid the 'rat run'.[:o)]

Sadly, I had to cancel my delivery from Braziers a couple of months ago as the milk they were delivering often had a use by date of the next day and was often sour. I pointed this out to them in the nicest possible way and they offered to change any milk that had gone off, but it was an almost daily inconvenience.
They were reliable and pleasant, but couldn't deliver fresh milk.
It could be that we were unusual in having red-top.

gone with Dairy Crest in the end as they had an online ordering service and had no luck gettign through to Braziers. the milkman popped by today to confirm the order and the days and said it would be arriving 'very early'. so far so good..

In case anyone else is interested, Braziers delivers milk to us at around 7am on Tues, Thur & Sat and it's in glass. However, Organic is in Plastic.
