oooooo now wouldn't that be a surprise - a building that's too costly to restore suddenly burnt to the ground ?![}:)]

Hi we are still all interested as to what this fire was, I heard the emergency services this afternoon and it sounded like a number of vehicles attending, so what was on fire? Or was someone having a BBQ nice weather for it.

Notwithstanding the fact that old Victor above couldn't be bothered to take a stroll to see what this alleged Armageddon was - I remain intrigued. I have a friend who lives in Ware Park Road who I tried to call yesterday to find out but she wasn't in, so I’m still none the wiser…

If you're so bothered why didn't you take a drive from Reading to find out what it was about?

Like I say Vic, if you don't want to help then fine. I am no longer in exile in Reading either, not that that matters.

Oh well it will have to stay as a mystery fire, so it must have been a BBQ or the local vicar has started to do cremations due to the recession plus vat of course. :-)
