carpet fitting
Has anyone recently had a carpet fitted? We have a room 11ft x 14ft that we need to get underlay and carpet fitted for, and was just wondering what an approximate cost may be for a room this size? Thanks

Bought a carpet from a national retailer, and had the carpet and underlay fitted in our sitting room 17'x11' for £52 (being their standard charge, and I don't work for them!!) by their guys of which there were 3. Whole thing done in around 1/2 hour, beautiful job.

I think that's just the price to fit the carpet and underlay, not supply as well?

we used carpet collections 01992 62248 in waltham cross very good efficient and well priced 3 bedrooms , hall stairs and landing 2 receptions and hall area
appx £1500 all in fitted inc u/lay gripper etc appx 100m2

Yes Gordon can drop you round lots of carpet samples to choose from. He has loads of books to look through
