Unpleasant smell
Has anyone else noticed the unpleasant smell in the town centre? I noticed I wasn't the only personal checking my shoes to see if I'd stepped in something.

I also thought I had trodden in something unpleaseant. The smell started near the taxi rank and only disappeared when I was inside Tescos. After emerging from Tescos the smell was with me until I reached Smiths, and yes Steve I checked my shoes several times.

There was a couple of blokes studying a plan and looking at drain covers on Tuesday in Maidenhead St - accompanied by what looked like a drain cleaning vehicle. Maybe connected?
