Just to say how sad this is and thanks to the guys at MM who have always been so helpful.

it is a shame that a small shop is having to vacate the area. i also think that the ladies gym has closed down......again. anyone know? guess the rent is to high on that venue.

It's not a good location. Very little "passing trade", although whether or not this is as important for a model shop is open to debate. It's somewhat disconnected from the rest of the town centre (the same is true of the shops in Warren Place). The wisdom of building a small "shopping arcade" at this location in questionable in itself IMHO.

I think the problems started when my stepson suddenly lost interest in Warhammer & discovered girls.....Turnover must have plummeted!

What is with the giant Surelet signage over the front entrance? Has planning been granted for this or is it not necessary. It makes the whole place look decidedly downmarket and that in turn will make it less attractive to a prospective tenant.
That end of town is starting to have lots of empty units, what with Gingerlillie now vacant too [:(]
