Football pitch to hire?
Hi
I'm looking to hire an 11-a-side grass pitch for a pre-season friendly this Sunday morning (Aug 10th). Does anyone know anywhere that is likely to have goal posts up and be available for hire?
Anything council owned will not have goals up until later this month at the earliest. I'm thinking of private clubs/grounds or even schools.
I've tried Hartham Leisure and Hertford FC but no joy so far.

Have you tried Simon Balle and Sele schools?

you might find something here http://www.eastherts.gov.uk/index.jsp?articleid=2316 I think bengeo tigers have their own goalposts and are based at Sele School. Ware Youth also have good facilities but not too sure if goalposts are in place
