The Hertford Club
I noticed there was some discussion regarding The Hertford Club towards the end of last year and I thought it was appropriate to announce the launch of the Hertford Clubs new website at www.hertfordclub.co.uk
If you have any photos of events that have been held at the Club or interesting pictures of the building, please email them for inclusion in the Gallery.
Despite a membership of over 600, new Members are always welcome.
Many thanks.
Mel

I note that in the rules it states that those belonging to "radical" organisations may not join. In the same rules it states that the objective of the club is to promote conservatism and that it is affiliated to the Conservative party and clubs. Surely the inclusion of both is something of an oxymoron. Conversely, the exclusion of socialism (with a small s), a term referring to the promotion of community and co-operation in society, is in itself a somewhat "radical" attitude. [:)] In effect the club has banned itself.[:D]

Thank you Andrew, it should be better now. (It's a glitch that I'm working on to do with the links)
I appreciate the feedback - it improves the site.

MoJo, it happened to me too. I don't dream... I flew solo into Humberside once - interesting experience. Very windy and fuel gauge reading almost zero despite both tanks being half full. I think the gauge was just rather conservative. Pity the crosswind wasn't quite so! [:D]
So can anybody explain how Soloflight is affiliated with the Hertford Club? [;)]
