Hertford shops.
I walked through the town on Saturday with some friends from London.
The town was vibrant. There was a buzz about the place that you just do not get in Welwyn Garden City, St Albans or elsewhere. My friends said they wished they had this on their doorstep.
And yes.......we all bought.

Very true, I have never experienced a town similar, you can get the buzz in london but this unfortunatly is all to often followed by a bang!

Agreed. Except Hertford is turning into a victim of its own success. Some Saturday nights its like a spanish holiday resort. People puking, shagging, fighting.
I love it being alive, but it could very well be the thing that kills it for the next 25 years. Just look what happened to Hoddesdon and the Cheshunt Old Pond.

has anyone been to the new furniture showrooms in wharehams lane?they do antiques old and new furniture paintings collectables and restoration..worth a look!

I keep meaning to get in there and have absolutley no excuse at all for not doing so. It's close enough to hit with a sock thrown from my bedroom window. And the daft thing is that I am looking for furniture at the moment.
I shall make an effort this week.
