I also wondered what it was like, someone said it's the same people who have the nursery at Watton -at - stone, I hope they do well, we need something like this in Bengeo, I did miss Vigus's when they closed down, I do go to the one near the dump, which is very good.

http://www.hertfordshiremercury.co.uk/hertfordshiremercury-business/DisplayArticle.asp?ID=308738 I wish them every success, as we have always used the Watton nursery - which seems (up to now),to have a good selection of plants (especially summer bedding plants and hanging baskets) all reasonably priced. They have maintained a *no frills* kind of establishment, which probably keeps the prices affordable. We shall see...[img]http://www.hertfordshiremercury.co.uk/hertfordshiremercury-business/DisplayArticle.asp?ID=308738 Happy planting!

I wish them success too, but hope they will accept credit cards - unlike Watton, where you had to dig out ye olde cheque booke. (if you'd remembered it)

Went up on saturday. Good stock, just plants no sundries or garden gnome type junk. Yes they do take credit cards. Good number of people there despite the weather and encountered several others walking around Bengeo with trays of plants during the weekend

Been there a couple of times and bought some plants and they are a cheaper and more warmer version of Van Hages in my humble opinion. Very well laid out and extremely helpful. Plants, Flowers and shrubs only though. No gardening equipment etc.

We went here on saturday - very good! It is after all a nursery and a proper one at that - so no equipment just plants.. I hope it stays that way!
