Has anybody dined in the restaurant at Coltsfoot? I fancied giving it a try. What's the food like/value for money/venue/how often do they have a pianist in?

Dined 2 years ago - it was nice though i remember it being a bit isolated and not quite busy enough to make any sort of "buzz" in the restaurant. Bar area is nice but small. I would go again but for lunch on a sunny day as its got nice courtyards and grounds.

I knew it was nearby, but not right in Hertford. Sometimes these really nice places lack atmosphere. I'll give it a go, preferably when there's a pianist in, cos I love to hear a piano being played nicely as background - that's one of the reasons I fancy trying it. Maybe I'll try just having a light lunch there, thanks Frenchie.
