Plant Pots on Hertford Roundabouts
Nice idea but they are a bit small and not really that noticable. Also will they be well maintained. Is this expenditure wise?

Sorry Citybird. I still haven't seen these.
I can say though that I am thankful to those who have reduced the height of the plant life on the roundabout at the junction of Hertingfordbury Road and Cross Lane. I think it must be the first time in 10 years that I can recall being able to see cars already on the roundabout and approach from your right when you are travelling Eastwards.
Well Done!

Hopefully the plant pots will come into better use in the spring/summer. I can't recall whether there was anything in their place previously? Perhaps large concrete containers?
I totally agree with Ewoowar's comments on the Hertingfordbury Rd round-about - hopefully being able to see what's coming will mean the traffic flows better too, as before it was always a nervous moment judging whether something was going to shoot around in front of you as you couldn't see what was coming.

Yes I saw two workmen rolling the old concrete containers away one day.
