New shops
Has anyone tried the new florists opposite Shire Hall? I believe it is called Charlotte's.
And does anyone know what is going to become of the shop at 6-8 The Wash? It looks like an eatery of some decription.

Well you've lost me on this one Ewoowar. Must have been walking around with eyes closed today (or possibly with a bad hangover). Wherabouts is Charlotte's exactly? Missed that one.
And is 6-8 The Wash now Subway, perveyors of large type rolls etc?

The new florists is on the corner where the craft shop used to be, two doors down from the Tourist Board.
And 6-8 is just down from Subway. It is where the pine sellers set up their stall on a Saturday.

All is clearer now. Florists where Crafties used to be.
Surprised about the old estate agents being turned into another eatery considering the Council has now banded all of town centre which accounted for Ashleys being refused permission to convert to a coffee/sandwich bar type place but Bagettes being allowed to knock into DVD World. Even more surprising given that The Sandwich Shop is two doors away. Will check on this banding from a good source (or should that be sauce) and try and understand thinking in town at the moment.

I'm only guessing about 6-8. My guess is based upon the number of toilets being fitted.

If my sources are correct the new florist has been opened by a mother and daughter.
The mother has been specalising in dried flowers for a long time and daughter (Charlotte) has been working in Dandylions at Ware florist.
I wish the well.

I see the old Bed of Roses has reopened as a florist again.
Now called "Scarlet Rose" I think so that is now 2 new florists.
