Good to see in the Mercury this morning that the museum has got local council funding from September for the 12 months it will be closed, so that it can continue to run an office and small retail outlet in the town. I have to say that, front cover excepted, I thought today's Mercury is a pretty good advertisement for Hertford's residents wanting to work together to keep the town a thriving market town.
