Old vicarage north rd
Does anyone know what is planned for the old vicarage on North road, development sign has been up for ages.

I had a letter from East Herts yesterday informing me (as a local resident) of the planning application for this development. The proposal is as follows:
"Extension and conversion of existing building to provide 6 no. flats and erection of detached building to provide 5 no. flats with associated landscaping and car parking."
Written comments on the application are invited before 29th january.

11 dwellings on that site! I guess this is the daft proposal to draw fire and exhaust objections before a slightly less ludicrous proposal is re-submitted and goes through easily. As the Church of England has seen fit to let that nice old house and garden fall into disrepair for years before flogging it for development, it seems to me the Lord does indeed move in mysterious ways. One of my neighbours was custodian of the key for a short while and let us have a look round. That was before rough sleepers broke in and then thieves stripped all the pipes and period fittings.
Will the vehicle access be onto Cross Lane?
