Cat Grooming

I have a long-haired cat who every winter, loves to have me cut his fur to make him look rediculous. At least that's what I can assume because he loves to get massive knots. So, to save his dignity this year, can anyone recommend a cat groomer who can give him a trendy haircut?

How did you get on? If our grouchy, claw-and knot-laden shaggy cat trys to shred our hands one more time we'll need to send him off for a grooming too!

they no longer do it, so it look slike a trip to the vets. Not sure what they can do though, as my hair clippers wont go through his fur, and the ones they showed me were very similar
