Happened to drop in to Bengeo's new deli on the way back from fireworks. Most impressed. Where else in Hertford could you buy Hungarian Salami at 7:30 in the evening?!

Joby - do they have a website that you know of? I will have to pop up there - sounds tasty but maybe they should have opened in the town? I have only heard about them through this site, have not seen any advertising

I don't think they have a website, I certainly can't find one anyway. I did have a leaflet through the door shortly before the place opened, but I haven't seen any wider advertising.
The place is half-deli-half-convenience store. They needed the convenience store aspect to maintain a loyal customer base (mainly Bengeo pensioners) from the previous owner, who I believe did not operate a deli as such. I suspect it was this that put Justin off - although pretty decent, the deli part of it falls way short of what Relish used to offer.
The owner is a neighbour of mine, so any comments etc. let me know and I'll forward them on (anonymously of course.)
