As a dyed in the wool Scrooge I do not send christmas cards, dress in a red suit or drive reindeer. But I would like to wish you all a very merry and peaceful Christmas. I have the distinct disadvantage in the town in as much as everyone knows me but I know very few people by name, but many by sight. Therefore this is the best way I know of passing on my best for the time of year to all those who I will most probably never meet. As is expected I shall be inhabiting many of the town centre hostelries over the festive period and if anyone would like to join me in the occassional alcoholic half I will happily accept it.
