Bircherley Green Paving
Very disappointing to see the poor standard of reinstatement after the work Morrison's did to connect the electricity supply near the two streetlamps in Bircherley Green.

Agreed. The parking and continued use of the space as a taxi rank does enough damage without planned works giving a lazy two fingers to the concept of 'making good' with an irregularly surfaced bodge of tarmac.
They took the red bricks out and should be made to put them back again. I hope they haven't had their bill paid yet.

Could it be that it is a temporary patching until someone skilled in laying those bricks makes a permanent repair?

There is "temporary patching" throughout this area, much of it several years old!

the temporary patching has probably been there for several years as it is well know that red brink layers only come from Poland and until now east herts council hasn't been able to communicate with them ?! ;)
