Aerobatics
Is anyone else watching the aerobatics over the meads towards Ware?

You should live over towards Bengeo area when the Panshanger lot get going doing their flying lessons, sometimes it's almost like dive bombing! cutting out their engines it quite breath taking!

All the more remarkable in that his aerobatic skills are basically self taught.
I was priveleged to be at the airfield he owns (Lt Gransden) some 15 yrs ago on the day he got married. The reception was in one of the hangers, and the wedding party arrived back on an open top bus from the local church - he stripped off his top hat and jumped straight into his plane which he proceeded to flip when less than 50 ft off the ground immediately after take-off, and treated us all to one of the most amazing displays I have ever witnessed. Most of us on the ground thought his new wife was about to be the quickest widow in history!
