Ah! but can they sell them, they are only worth that amount of money if people are silly enough to buy them! some houses in the Mercury this week have dropped by £15,000.00 or more.

Yes,Rupert only paid £950,000.00 for it and did no improvements, so quite a tidy profit, if he can sell at that price! but we are getting off topic, are the properties in question the ones behind the council houses in Hertingfordbury Road?? took ages to build, looks like they might have missed the boat where prices are concerned.

Well it upsets me to think this was our County Hospital and now beening sold off, scandalous! it could have been incorporated into the new hospital

But we have a rather nice new hospital next to it, rather than the rabbit warren that was the old hospital. I imagine the new building is a lot easier to maintain and in return we have one of Hertford's most attractive buildings looking much better than it did, now that it is rid of all its 20th century accretions.
