The Greyhound - Bengeo
Before wandering down to the Barge for the jazz night this evening, we took a stroll up to The Greyhound in Bengeo.
I have to say, the Country Bitter was top notch - and the AK was rather nice as well.

I know that this pub was waiting for a new tenant. Perhaps the changeover has already happened.

Quiz night at the Greyhound tonight - £2 a head - starts at 8:00 - sandwiches - wine for the winners.
Might make a nice change if you haven't been there for a while.

If you missed it, the next one's in two weeks time on the 11th March.
BTW If you haven't visited The Geyhound for a little while, this might be a good excuse to try it. There's a new landlord, Reg, and the smoking ban has done wonders for the atmosphere (pun intended). Oh, and they sell beer.
