Sele Farm
I moved to Sele Farm from Willowmead yesterday and I am so pleased that I did. I was warmly greeted by several neighbours and the missus has phoned me this morning to say we have two cards welcoming us. One was from a lady 9 doors down and the other from somebody across the road. I feel warm and fuzzy inside[:D][:D][:D]

That's nice to hear. My neighbours are nice too.. but that's because I've grown up with them all... Jolly nice to hear positive things on this forum... Hope your move in is good in this hot weather!

It was not the best day to move in and I am knackered today at work. The missus has just phoned me to say that she is having lunch in the back garden with my mum in the sunshine. Grrrrr!!!
I am happy to prove the critics of Sele Farm wrong. You know who you are!!!

You can live in "nice" areas but still have dodgy neighbours who don't make life tolerable.. I've always been quite lucky, but its pure luck! Enjoy your new home. I always shop for my bread in Sele farm.. Simmons.. its a good shop and worth supporting....

Try the fish and chip shop on the same parade as well - good quality and very reasonable prices.

Shame they treat their staff so badly though, 50-60 hours a week with no overtime and no hope of more staff isn't nice. Good chippy up there though.

I was referring to one individual who constantly has a pop at Sele Farm without any foundation to it other than his ridiculous snobbery.
