Thanks for the chance to talk about Hertford! Shame we can't get more people on here... Maybe a big advert for the forum on the main page might help??... It would be good to get the Young...and the old....and the in between (like me) on here...it would be good to get the whole spectrum of Hertford society..clubing, pubs all the way through to salvation army and working mans club.... I look forward to developments.. (online and housing :) )

Has anyone checked out the "sister" site for Ware (http://www.wareonline.co.uk) - they are an active bunch of posters over there! Actually, I spent many a happy hour browsing this site before deciding to actually register for the forums. It only takes a minute. Come on - it would be good to get it going! Thanks for registering "newgirl". Hopefully we can acheive a critical mass and get things going, although we've got alot of catching up to do to match WareOnline!

I was involved in the early days of a new forum a while ago for owners of a certain type of car. after we had about 15 regular contributors it suddenly seemed to take off...i think the forum was registered with some of the main search engines too which i think helped?...

Look what those cheeky folk over in Ware are saying about us on their forums:- "we residents of Ware seem to have a very active input into our online forum. Is this another proud example of just how Ware is more fun, interactive and 'cutting edge' than Hertford? Leading by example as it were." Wareonline.co.uk Are we going to let them get away with that?

Think there has always been a bit of 'Friendly' banter between the towns... ;)

The rivalry between Hertford and Ware actually goes back centuries and is well documented!
