HT FC prospects anyone?
Anyone got any low down on how our footy team will do this year? Should I put pablo and co in my fantasy team[:)]

I reckon they will do pretty well, top three at least. I have been to all of the pre-season matches so far, including the farcical Bishop's Stortford match, and the team is gelling really well. If they play like they did against Enfield Town on Thursday night then they should be in with a shout of the league title.

Should be able to get out of the league this season easily, Opposition is very poor. Now have a lot of strong players and if Clarke puts some money into the team might be able to pull a few more players in.

Well, the new league season starts today already. Hertford Town are at home to Holmer Green. Should be a nice day for it, so if anyone would like to see, what according to odds on the league forum will be a game between the league favourites and rank outsiders, then kick off is 3pm. Don't envy the players doing 90 minutes in this weather though.

Why doesn't the club hire out the hall any more to generate some money?

It Does! there have been a few functions there in recent months, though the current clubhouse is probably not really suitable for the range events that were being held in the old building before it burnt down.
