Black Horse Beer Festival
There will be a beer festival featuring 14 different ales and at least 2 ciders, taking place on 15, 16 and 17 June - which fits nicely with Father's Day!
There will also be a BBQs on Saturday 16 June: 1-4 and 7-10pm and again on Sunday 1-4pm. So, you can take your Daddy to the pub, let him sample all the beers, feed him up on sausages and burgers, then roll him home afterwards.
The Sunday Quiz will take place as usual.
Talking of the quiz, it really is very good hearted fun. Our bridesmaids dresses are beginning to look a bit tatty - bridesmaids for two weeks in a row.

Gosh F.W. Thanks for the mention. In fact there will now be 16 ales, 2 ciders and a perry. All now in the cellar settling down nicely.
By the way, the bride's dress came out of mothballs last night for your team and you were not there!!

I think the bridesmaids are on honeymoon. Left for sunny climes on Monday.
I am gently twisting the arms of number 1 son and Sloop minor and hope to cadge at least a half a pint off of one of them. See you Sunday.

How did the festival go after all? Sorry couldn't be there but it was a long way from where we were.

Yes, FW why was that? Your presence was sorely missed. There was some speculation that you were appearing professionally in Europe. In fact a good friend of mine swears she saw you at the famous "Coach und Clogs" in Amsterdam. Well?

Glad to see you are back from your little jaunt. We received your card on Tuesday (posted in Cairo on 15th) How was Jerusalem after that?
Beer Festival went well. Rained all of Saturday so patrons were wet inside and out. Loadsa beer drunk.
