But it is so small in comparison with the current station. Are they going to have a separate station for Ware? The current Police Station also has loads of parking space which is very often almost full. Where will they park all the police vehicles and staff cars?

"Ware is also set to receive an enhanced local policing service as the the Herts Police are in discussions over obtaining the use of a building in the town centre. The Hertford and Ware Neighbourhood Policing Team and Neighbourhood officers and PCSO's would be stationed there and use it as their base." The "Hertford and Ware" police station in Ware Road is being "de-merged" with each town getting it's own station. The site is alot bigger than it appears.

Hmm, as a recent temp working at County Hall, that particular Road is so congested I am not sure any of the Police vehicles would get in or out of the premises they have bought! Not a good plan from that fact. I really don't see how it will be big enough, they have, currently space to park larger Police vans and other transit van sized vehicles, where an earth will they be placed, or is this the plan, park them in Stanborough at WGC and hope Hertford and Ware won't need them!!!!!

I'm guessing that the planning application will include an exit directly onto the roundabout.

Hmm.. A(nother) Home Office building that just happens to have a nuclear-grade civil defence bunker just a few metres underneath..

It will be ok for the Old Bill. Siemens owned it before... [:p] Seriously, to have the police response right on the Hale roundabout will be much better for this town.

Make it safer to walk along Ware Road on a Friday and Saturday evening anyway. Every time I walk to Tesco's to get my beer I'm in fear of my life. Not from criminals, of course - but all the police cars hurtling along it at high speed towards the town.
