Bengeo Working Men club
Can anyone enlighten me on this? I have heard good and bad reports in equal amounts! I know that they accept women, equal rights and all that, but what's it like as a club????

Women, yes, 'us lesser beingings are finally accepted' Now oficially the Bengeo Club. Never visit unless made to but OK but I feel the same original tendencies prevail.

oh dear! I was told they were in the stone age, I was also told that women have to go upstairs, why?

Have checked. Us little Women are now allowed to roam far and wide. Even into the inner sanctam of the DOWNSTAIRS BAR. Enjoy!!!

The club in my opinion is really good. I dont live in Bengeo but if I did I would join and use as my local. i play in Ware & District darts league and we play the clubs darts team. Only problem is that due to excellent beers usually on at the club nobody wants to drive.

Tigger, I have learnt that the ladies are allowed in the downstairs bar on Tuesday when Bingo is on as there is no bar staff upstairs to serve them drinks! which is a bit off, no service.

Dell Boy, do pigeon racing still go on? I remember as a kid lots of people divulging in this sport, but I do not see the flocks of homing pigeons like I use to! and does it carry on up the 'club' pigeon meeting that is!
