Stencils - any idea where to buy them?

I'm looking for some funky stencils and I'm wondering if there is anywhere in Hertford that may sell them? The little interiors shop on St Andrews St maybe? Or the art shop? Never been into either, I'd like to get some this weekend and avoiding London would be preferable [;)]

The art shop on St Andrew Street is fantastic. You name it they sell it. You should almost certainly get stencils in there or he would be able to advise you.

Hate to promote another town but Baldock Street in Ware has a craft shop, Krazy Kards or something, was the old bookshop.

If you're feeling creative, we have some oil-manilla stencil card that can be cut from your own design. Or you could pinch a design off the web, maybe. Hope this helps further!

Hetheringtons in Hoddesdon is worth try. They have a brilliant art and craft dept.

Nora, do you not mean Meadows in Hoddesdon? I know they are an art/craft/tea room/deli shop..? I dont know Hoddesdon well so there may be another art/craft shop in Hoddesdon.

Blimey! If I'd known there was so much competition out there, I would have opened a hairdressers instead. Still, 25 years in business next year, I'll be able to award myself a gold watch..stencilled on my wrist, of course..

There's no competition at all when it comes to great service - always friendly and very knowledgable. And you have a serious art shop as well as stocking the fun stuff. I popped in just to buy a couple of pencils and came out with glow in the dark glue, paint-your-own umbrella, a Rotring pen... Some great greetings cards too.
