I enjoyed that link, thank you for posting it, Codek. This property is the old nursing home near St Jospephs in the Park private RC school not far from the pub in Hertingfordbury. I note no mention is made of the fact that the owners will be unable to access their drive twice a day during term time due to the proliferation of yummy mummies' (and au-pairs) 4WDs dropping off and picking up their offspring. [:D]
What 'North' does this estate agent's blurb think we are the Hampstead of, exactly? The North of the Home Counties?

Why is it so difficult for the estate agents to expend a similar amount of energy and imagination on the photographs as they do the accompanying prose. 3 million notes for a place with Bircherley Green's toilets!? Only if they'd discovered oil in the garden.

Mercifully, we won the lottery jackpot on Saturday so will be making an appointment to view... If only <sigh> beautiful building, strangely empty lifestyle (feels like a show house) and agreed, the bathrooms are a little sterile, anonymous and would - of course - need remodelling. Because of that, d'you reckon they would accept an offer of £250k?

St Josephs in the Park is not a RC school to be accurate.
Agree entirely about the 4WD excess of the Mothers.
You forgot to make a bitchy comment about the kids using the field in front of the house for sports.
Still, can't see it selling for that sort of money unless to be converted a la Goldings.
