Must have happened very late. I was in there until about 11.30 and got a taxi from the rank jus before midnight. There was no sign of the police before then.

About midnight there was a police prescence, they were talking to one man outside whilst another man was sitting, leant against the glass windows, his face covered in blood, looked like he had been glassed.

Baroosh was closed yesterday ' due to unforseen circumstances ' and not due to open again until Monday (or I think that's what the sign said). It looked like they were 're-doing' the floor - perhaps a major cleanup was needed?

Yet to be confirmed, but apparently the young man that was seriously injured is the grandson of a local man in town. He was in Baroosh with his boss when whatever happened, happened. There is every possibility that this young man will lose his eye. I think this type of attack merits a minimum of three years in gaol. What a shame it can't be longer.
