Not the ones who are celebrated but the "characters" or just people you remeber. I will start with Major Woodhouse, he lived in the big house on Bengeo Street by the "twitchel" and his garden is now Lodge Close. He used to come to Bengeo school as I remeber in a wheelchair, I think he was a big benefactor.
