I was thinking of shops that are already here, but you can include ones that we don't need........ My vote was for the Spanish Properties opposite Castle Hall but they've already gone.

I want to see Hertford thrive as it did many years ago when I moved here but it needs the right mix of shops to do that, and if you end up with too many shops you don't need, you won't attract the shops you do.

define thrive? whatever u may say, hertford town IS doing well for itself. go down on a saturday.. if it was any busier you wouldnt be able to move!

If a shop or business is prospering or surviving then I suggest there is a need for it. It may not be a business that I would use myself but I only speak for myself and not the thousands of others who live and/or work in Hertford. For example, I don't like McDonalds and I am glad it has closed. However, although I didn't need McDonalds I am sure there are many others who did.

We don't need a betting shop on Sele Farm. A nice cafe would be much better - or even a greengrocers
