Looking for a Private Child Minder
I am looking for some help in trying to find a Child Minder. I am a bit premature, as my baby isn't due until February, but I don't know where to start to look in Hertford.
I contacted the local council, after chasing some what, I've decided to post a thread and see if other 'locals' can help?
I've contacted the nurseries like Monkey Puzzle etc but they are taking the mick with the prices and it's not a one-on-one with the baby.
I am looking for a Child Minder to either have the baby at mine or at theirs (depending on certifications/health and safety etc) and they would be insured to drive my car to take the baby out and about.
If any mums/dads could help me with my search, it would be much appreciated; any information is greatly received.

I drove past a house on Amwell Lane today which has a board outside saying that they are registered child minders.
I'll have a look tomorrow as I am out that way again.
I'll email you the number.

Hi,
I am a fully registered childminder and i also have 9 years experience as a nanny, along with being NNEB qualified. I live in SG13 and mind children from my home. I have a little boy of my own aged 14months.
I only ever look after a maximum of two mindee's together at any one time, due to wanting to keep it fun/enjoy it myself!
Childminders only have a vacancy for 1 child under the age of one year, and my vacancy becomes free as from April/May 2007.
If you would like to contact me with an idea of when you will be needing a childminder to start, and an idea of days/hours if possible i'll see if i can help. I have a portfolio with all the information on my setting for you to view.
