Ive heard from a neighboring shopkeeper that the company has been changing hands within the family quite a few times in the last year in order to resolve some large unpaid tax bills...

anyone know what the plan is for martins newsagents? they shut half the shop down ages ago. also, the refectory in parliament square - is anyone moving into those premises?

I think I noticed The Refectory seemed to have a different name over it, looks like it is going to be a gift shop.
There is a notice on the window of Martins and in the Mercury there is an application for a sanwich bar at 14 The Wash which I am sure is that unit as The Bouquet and Blossoms are 10 / 12.

Martins other half is trying to turn itself into a sandwich bar and The Refectory has turned into what looks like a watered down version of itself. Give them time though. I like to see new enterprises succeed.
