I am sure there would be more people on this forum, including my sister who is most upset she can't register if web based e mail addresses were allowed. She feels like she is being ignored already

I'm puzzled by accounts like yahoo, hotmail et al not being OK. Admin, what is the reasoning behind this? For example if a Troll, intent on causing trouble, legitimately registers they can then cause mayhem until stopped. Is it some traceability issue?

It's an option to add particular posters to your "Kill File" and not have to see their posts any more. I posted this qeuery after wading through a thread containing a back-and-forth insult exchange and it irritating me, particularly as I was interested in the thread topic and not the slanging match. There are certain jibes which I rise to far too easily and feel complled to defend. I must learn to respond with, "Please go to appropriate thread to discuss". I understand the motivation MrP. I commonly (some would say 'flamboyantly') allow the reverance of topics to leak through my fingers. Personally though, I believe there is real value in this secondary product of forum interaction and I genuinely enjoy the clumsy way topics are often debated & peoples posts are misunderstood resulting in arguments etc - I'm guilty here too. Frankly it's great fun to watch relationships break down in front of you through the medium of text.
