Esso Garage down Gascoyne Way
The garage has been in the hands of new owners for most of this year now and has anyone found as I have that the place has gone downhill. They constantly run out of stock, particularly papers and the service from one female member of staff is downright rude. I usually get there for opening time at 6.30 a.m and several times I have had to walk round to the excellent newsagents at Hertford North as Esso have failed to open on time.[}:)][}:)][}:)][}:)][}:)][}:)][}:)][}:)] What experience have you lot had?

OK. Shouted at by a late-running delivery tanker once for having the temerity to try and pay for my fuel before moving out of the way for him, but other than that, fine. Only go there for fuel - rare occasions when stocknig up for long-haul driving, but they've always had what I needed. The staff have been polite; have only been served by men.

too expnsive for me to even consider buying fuel there, or the BP station. Bring on Sainsbury's!!

yes, my dad only found out when the police contacted him and told him his number was found on a list that had been obtained from there
