Hertford Town - a vocal crowd tonight.
I don't know how far the noise from Hertford Town Football Club carries across the town but did anyone else hear the crowd noise tonight?
It sounded great.
I checked out their web site but could not work out who they were playing.

Don't be daft. White Hart Lane was only half full. Those who had bought tickets and had to collect on the day were confronted by crowds round the block queueing at a handful of windows. Perhaps Hertford Town FC was full of those who gave up up queueing at Spurs at half time and hot tailed it back for some real football.
Incidentally, Arsenal didn't seem to have the same problems with their Brazil game on Sunday. Hmmmmm.

It was a great game and the crowd were definitely in full voice so that's what you heard.
Hopefully things are on the up at the club there. There have been really positive moves behind the scenes and on the pitch recently. I only started watching them last year so I hope bigger crowds will come to the Park this year.

I was told 2-1 down with 15 min left and went on to win 4-2..try to catch a few games a season myself..they do like a drink win/lose/draw

This win moved Hertford up to second in the leauge, only 2 points behind Edgware.
Yes it was very vocal, attendance only 76, get yourself along to the ground and support your local side Hertford are playing away this Saturday against Edgware in a cup game, should be a good game, there is a supporters coach leaving the ground at 12.45, The Stable End choir will be there in force, but do not worry the vocal support will not be heard that far away.

The front page of the website http://www.hertfordtownfc.co.uk normally has a box with the next fixture in, however, the webmaster was away on holiday at the time so it was missing!
This Saturday (16th) we are at home to Aylesbury Vale in the league KO 3pm. After a good win last night at London Colney we are currently top of the league.
