a place to play snokker or pool
does anybody know of a place to playsnokker or pool in hertford i reallly enjoy playing a good game of pool

There's one on Parliament Square next to the nightclub I think.

Yes there is a pool & snooker club at parliament square, its called Shades and is above the kebab house next to zeros.
There are six pool tables on the first floor and four pool & three snooker tables on the second floor, its nicely decked out and has a good atmosphere.
If your under 16 i think you need an adult in tow though, membership is a fiver and the table rate about 3 quid an hour, if you want more details phone them on (01992) 553080.

The Golden Griffin has 4 pool tables.
If you're under 16 then you'll be just like any of the others that play on them.

Good to see that they have done away with the 'No under 16's' rule that was in place about a year ago when i last went in there with my 14 year old son....their loss and shades gain!

thres a club near waitrose, dunno what it scalled, & its not a specific snooker club, but its chaeprer & it does have a table rarely in use!

I think you are refering to the Hertford club which has a snooker table, but i think you have to go before a committee ( who check that you are suitable membership material and not a raving looney, that counts me out!)
If you pass through the net, you part with a small wad and off you go!
