This week I've been mostly digging 5 wheelbarrow loads of rocks & flint out of my allotment (3 square metres x 2 spits depth) on the North Road site. Does anyone know if there was any industrial usage in this area in the dim and distant past (a diamond mine would be nice[:D]) or do all the houses on North Road have the same rock filled land?[:)]
