Doctors and Dentists

Sorry is this isn't the right forum but I couldn't find a relevant one (unless I'm missing something, is there a Misc. one?). I (and my good lady) have recently moved to Hertford and into what I guess you'd call the Lower Bengeo area (ie. above Port Vale). I've had a look at the council website for doctors and dentists and there are to be a few in St. Andrews Street which seem to be the closest (although I'm sure we saw an NHS place in Bull Plain...). Does anyone have any recommmendations/good experiences or warnings/bad experiencess about the local NHS services. Which ones should we register with? Thanks in advance, Newcomer

Haven't been able to fault the Wallace House surgery, yet. Or to be glass half-full-ish about it, the relatively little use I've needed to make of them, they've been very good. Dentists I can't help on as I register near to work, which is in St. Evenage.

Dentists at 92 Ware Rd. 582945 are good they take both NHS and private patients. Have been happy with Wallace House where we've gone for the last 15 yrs, a bit difficult at times when you need an appointment at short notice for the children but probably like that everywhere. HEMs out of hours service is excellent.

Like everyone else can't fault Wallace House. I think one of the few dentists practices still accepting NHS is John Hudson in Bull Plain.

Wallace House is the best GPs I've ever used. Dr McCabe in particular.
