Big Issue
I haven't seen anyone selling the BIg Issue in town over the past couple of weeks. Does anyone know what has happened?

You may remember the small Spanish guy who sat out there with his dog well ... I heard he got five numbers and the bonus ball, took his £100+k and went to Sapin and opened a bar. Now that is a Big Issue[:)]
The spot once possessed by Big john seems to be rented out to a stream of stand ins.

Is that true?
I liked Big John, always had a ready smile. When he moved on his replacement was very evasive about where he went. Is this because he didn't know or there's an unwritten rule about not passing on info to non B.I sellers?

The Guy after Big John used to travel in to Hertford by Train from Elephant and Castle.
I know because I got on and off the same train as him once of twice

Big John was great - cheerful and friendly - the one's since don't really seem to care. When the Mercury Bus got it's Parking Ticket however, I believe he had bumper sales. Maybe people that peple being nice get's a similar response. Lethery does not.
