I remember the days when I had nothing to do but loll around all morning reading newspapers with fresh coffee and croissants.......
You'll have to do the reading for me and tell me what they said. I imagine the Hillside got a good review, Justin??? It should have.

[/quote]The reporter wrote about Hertfords historical buildings, it's royal connections, the four rivers and rural surrondings.Also mentioned were the antique shops and wide variety of speciality shops.Property prices took a large part of the review.The excellent choice of restaurants was included (yes,and The Hillside)along with the secondary schools.
One thing it stated that I didn't know is that the Quaker Meeting House is the oldest in the world!Is this correct?

I know this line ceased some time ago, but yes the Friends' Meeting House is the oldest in the world, and is very well worth visiting.
