Vehicle break ins last night
If any of the little sh*ts who broke into cars and a motorbike last night on Bengeo Street are reading this, I hope you're pleased with yourselves. You managed to cause hundreds, if not thousands, of pounds worth of damage to local residents and hours of undue stress and lost working hours this morning. i hope it was worth it.

2 cars and 1 bike that i know of. my husband was one of those affected. he's still at home trying to sort out the mess. someone should bring back corporal punishment.

they removed the ignition?? i think! (technophobe here!!) and then gave up and abandoned the bike on the other side of the road. still £100s of damage. if either of the 2 idiots that did this are reading (yes, you were spotted and the police have a description of you) i hope you enjoyed yourselves and it was worth it.

I just hope they get a punishment which is actually a deterrent, not an all expenses paid trip to the Amazon or similar for some sort of rehab! Grrr...

sorry to hear that b/b there are a lot of this going on at the mo.used to happen a lot were i lived till most of them got nicked.i had a moped stolen once i asked around a bit who might have done it (cost a few £)but i found out.don't think they will be doing it again in a hurry!!!!

BB, giving the police a description will gt you nowhere. I recently had to report a crime. Gave the police a detailed description, his home address, his work address and phone number. They still haven't managed to get hold of him.

we got a letter from the police to say they weren't taking the matter any further. what exactly do we pay our taxes for???

Does the letter give any explanation? They don't have unlimited resources and there comes a time when it's not expedient to pursue some minor crimes.

I thought the police were of the opinion that most crime of this sort is commited by a small number of people. Therefore would it not make sense to continue with an investigation to remove this small number before they commit further crimes.
