Secondary Schools merging?
Apparently there are "rumours" that Simon Balle and the Sele schools are set to merge due to falling numbers at the Sele and the potential land value of the Simon Balle site.
Has anyone else heard these rumours - or better still, have any hard facts to add?

This one's been doing the rounds for some time now. I heard it back in the Summer from an allegedly reliable source. I've spoken to someone quite high up in the Education Department at the County Council who have catagorically denied that there are any plans to merge the two schools.

The rumour is a load of garbage, I can assure you, ignore it.
